I/we swear that all information is correct and complete to the best of my/our knowledge. I/we agree to waive, release, indemnify and hold harmless the McHenry County Historical Society and Museum (MCHS), including its staff, Board, volunteers, and event partners, from any and all claims or causes of action of any kind, including but not limited to illness, injury, death, damages, attorney's fees or losses of any kind which the participant, the participant's business or its officers, employees, volunteers, agents, patrons, or members of the public may have or which arise out of or related to the event.
I/we understand this is a rain-or-shine event. However, MCHS reserves the right to cancel the event due to dangerous weather conditions or unforeseen situations that may make it unadvisable to host an outdoor event. In the case of cancellation, MCHS shall not be liable for damages, claims, expenses, or losses. No fees or costs will be refunded in case of a cancellation.
I/we affirm I/we have read and understand the rules of operation and agree to abide by all rules established for the operation of the event. I/we understand that failure to comply with the rules set forth by the McHenry County Historical Society and Museum may result in termination of this agreement without recourse by the participant and MCHS shall not be liable to anyone for this action.
